The Garden Guy's Seminar with Nick Sakovich

"Garden Guy" Nick Sakovich is partnering with Volcano Garden Arts to present an informative one–day garden seminar.
Participants will have the unique opportunity to learn from this professor emeritus of University of California, now a Hilo resident, who has worked in the field of agriculture for 30 years, and is a member of the University of Hawaii Master Gardeners
Topics to be covered include:
Vegetable gardening: Seasons, planting dates and common problems.
Deciduous fruit trees: How to purchase and grow them.
Pests of the garden: How to manage common pests and diseases.
The day will be completed with an insightful tour of the beautiful grounds and gardens at Volcano Garden Arts.
